TulaWatch was born from a simple idea: no one should ever miss their favorite TV soap opera. What started as a small community on WhatsApp during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown has grown into Uganda's leading entertainment platform, serving thousands of happy viewers daily.

Our Journey

From humble beginnings to Uganda's leading streaming platform

TulaWatch was born from a simple observation: Many Ugandans living abroad and those at home were missing their favorite TV soap operas. Whether caught up at work, running errands, or living overseas, they couldn't keep up with episodes of beloved shows on Spark TV and Bukedde TV.

"We started small — really small." During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, we began serving our community through simple WhatsApp groups, sharing episodes so no one would miss out. The response was overwhelming!

The demand grew rapidly. What started as a few WhatsApp groups exploded into hundreds of members eagerly waiting for each new episode. We knew we had to do more. We had to go bigger.

In 2021, we officially launched the TulaWatch website. This marked our transformation from a community project to a professional streaming platform. We wanted to serve Ugandans everywhere — from Kampala to Kyotera, from London to New York — ensuring they never miss their favorite content.

Since then, we've grown beyond our wildest dreams. Due to high demand from our amazing users, we've expanded our library to include thousands of movies, diverse series, captivating novelas, and live TV channels. We keep growing and expanding every single day.

2020
The Beginning
Started serving viewers via WhatsApp groups during COVID-19 lockdown. Helping Ugandans catch up on Spark TV & Bukedde TV soaps.
2021
Official Launch
Launched TulaWatch website on 17th-June-2021 to serve Ugandans professionally — both at home and abroad who couldn't watch their favorite shows live.
2022-2023
Rapid Expansion
Added thousands of movies, series, novelas, and live TV channels due to overwhelming demand from our growing community.

Founder & CEO
He is the founder of TulaWatch and Tumiza, two growing digital platforms focused on entertainment and online marketplace solutions. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science at Kyambogo University (2023–2026), combining academic knowledge with practical experience in software development and entrepreneurship.
